What file formats can I import?
Descriptra supports CSV (.csv) and Excel (.xlsx) files. Both single-sheet and multi-sheet Excel files are handled.
Is there a row limit for imports?
There is no hard row limit. We have successfully imported files with over 10,000 rows. Very large files are processed in batches for reliability.
Does import auto-detect my columns?
Yes. The import system auto-detects common column names like Title, SKU, Description, Price, and Brand. You can manually adjust any mapping before importing.
Can I export my data after generation?
Yes. Export your complete catalog as CSV with all generated fields: descriptions, titles, keywords, bullet points, meta titles, and meta descriptions.
What happens to duplicate SKUs during import?
Duplicate SKUs are flagged during the validation step. You can choose to skip duplicates, overwrite existing products, or import them as new entries.
Can I import products into a specific catalog?
Yes. During import, you select which catalog to add products to, or create a new catalog on the fly.
